….They are in demand!

People are loving the List chalkboards, and Michael has been filling the orders, and shipping them out.

If you missed it, a couple of posts back, here in The Homestead section, we blogged about a Prayer List chalkboard Michael had made for our home, after another little brainstorm I had.  Scroll down to the earlier post  if you want to catch the whole story, but the update is, people have been contacting us, and wanting to custom order one for their own home, or as a gift.

They don’t need to be marked as Prayer Lists, but that is all we have been selling so far.  (Which is nice!) But they can also be ordered as a To Do List, Grocery List, Remember List, Notes, your family name…..anything you want!

You can also choose your finish.  They come as painted white, stained in Golden Oak,  Provincial, Dark Mahogany, or even unfinished, if you’d like to finish it with that left over paint or stain you have, to match the room you’ll be hanging it in.

These chalkboard lists can be handy in the office, family room, kitchen, etc.

Here is our that hangs in our sun room, we are are often gathered.  Although we have all white trim in this room, we chose the Provincial stain for the frame, to match a painting on the wall nearby, and to tie in with the brown in the wood stove in the room.

The white is a very clean look, and may be a good choice for a room that is all white trim.

The Golden Oak is really pretty.  It would look beautiful in any room with a stain wood finish or has a warm tone.

Each one is custom-made by hand, and are nicely finished, while still maintaining their rustic feel.

They come with zig-zag hangers on the back, and raffia tied on to hang it with…..which can be easily changed out for any pretty or coordinating ribbon to match the decor of your home.

This was an order of 3 Prayer Lists.  We gave one like it to friends of ours, who have been so very good to us, as a gift.  They loved it, and their grown children loved it so much as well, that the parents ordered one for each of their children’s homes.

We love that people are enjoying them as much as we do.  We use ours a lot, and it is really is so helpful.
