By Day 3 of VBS, the kids were pros with their moves to their praise songs, and were singing their little hearts out.  It’s just the sweetest thing to see all of them together, arms in the air with open palms facing the Heavens, swaying back and forth.  I love that sight.

We are having a GREAT time at VBS so far. Day 1 went surprisingly smooth, all things considered. The 50-something kids were beyond excited gathering in the hall for opening prayer, and all of the singing and dancing with the video screen. The BAYOU….that’s just a nice word for SWAMP.  Isn’t it?  It’s seems like such a nice sounding word, I think.  It almost sounds fancy, to me,  like someplace you’d vacation, maybe.  But it’s a swamp.

Hmmm.  I think I just digressed before I even started.
