I know! It’s been awhile since I’ve made a ceiling fan pull, huh? Hey, a girl only has so much time to craft! But once I got this new one in my head, I couldn’t go out & get the supplies to make it, fast enough. I made it, and then I was so excited to see it up, that I took down my summer fan pull, to put it up.
Shabby Chic is so my style

& HOT SPOTLIGHTS!
HaPpY TuEsDaY, Friends!
Some of you may have swung by here last Tuesday to link up some fine inspiration. Only, there was no partyin’ happening! We took an extended-long weekend for our oldest daughter’s birthday, and there just wasn’t room for setting up the link-party on the agenda. However, we DID send out ample notice, via our Blog’s Facebook Page, as well as my Twitter. So…..if you ‘didn’t get that memo’, maybe you aren’t following us? So we reckon now is as

Several blog posts back, I shared a simple craft I did making decorative paper pennants. Part of that project was putting eyelets in the top corners of the pennants, to string ribbon through, and hang like paper bunting. I asked in that post if there was anyone interested in a tutorial on the procedure of using eyelets, and one of our readers, Lindy over at Veni Vidi Scrappy, said she would. She is a passionate scrap booker, as evidenced by her great site, so this would make for a very useful technique for her. But there are many creative ways

& SPOTLIGHTED LINKS!
I wanted to thank everyone who has been coming around to link-up every Tuesday with us!!
Honestly, it’s a difficult process to choose features every week! Everyone is worthy, and I have never liked leaving people out. I want to choose everyone, and there are other times it’s hard not to choose the same bloggers we’ve chosen before. There are always so many inspiring and inventive ideas! So, I can only do the best I

*(Happy Summer Everyone! I am re-sharing craft idea / post from our archives dated last year, because it’s a fun idea & favorite of mine for this time of year! Hope you enjoy!)
We had some people down a couple of weekends ago, and while they were here, the kids and I got to making pinwheels. O.k., in the end, it was mostly me really working on them. They needed to be fine tuned, to work properly. Making this quick little craft was on my agenda, so I already had the supplies. The kids visiting us each took one home.
Ours has served mostly as home decor

& FEATURED PROJECTS!
Well, I hope you all had as wonderful of a weekend, as we did. It’s rare I go 2 days, without doing something for the blog, or get involved in some creative project or other. But that’s what I did this weekend! I just spent a little time enjoying working on our gardens, and 2 straight days having quality time with my family. We celebrated Michael, and my Dad-who was here with is this weekend, and also celebrated & remembered our memories & the life of Michael’s father as well. We miss him. All in all

Sometimes, my crafts come about in an all-backwards-sort-of-way, and this, is one of those.
See, I happened to be in one of my favorite crafts stores, Michael’s Arts & Crafts, and saw this pad of 12×12 scrapbooking paper, that was nothing short of stunning to me.
I had to have it.
The hesitation was… (READ MORE......) | 10 Comments

FROM LAST WEEK’S LINK-UPS!
Tuesday is here once again, and that means it’s time to TOOT a few horns, before we have another inspiring round of linky-partying!
Before I get to our features here, I just wanted to cut & paste a little message I put on our Facebook Page. (In case you aren’t following us there.) I really hope (really, really, reeeeeally hope….), that I don’t come across as a witch, saying this
